LEE, 74, of 908 E. Poplar St., West Frankfort, died at 1 a.m. today in Doctors' Hospital in Carbondale. He had been in poor health for several years, and was a patient at the hospital the past two days. Mr. Lee was born in Jefferson County Jan. 26, 1895, the son of John and Drusha MCTALLY LEE. He lived in West Frankfort 55 years. Mr. LEE worked as an electrician for Old Ben Coal Corp. for 20 years. He retired in 1953. Mr. LEE was a member of the First Christian Church of West Frankfort, Frankfort Lodge 567 of Masons, and of World War I Barracks 537. Mr. LEE is survived by his wife, Margaret; a son, Dr. Richard V. LEE of Carbondale; a daughter, Mrs. Sada Ruth TITTERTON of Normal; a sister, Mrs. Anna KIRK of Ina; a brother, Oscar of Ina; and five grandchildren. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reedy Funeral Home, West Frankfort, with the Rev. Herbert JOHNSON officiating. Burial will be in Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Masonic rites at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
